Continuing Education Training

On this page you will find links and ideas for CEU training.  If you are looking for specific topics that you have not found, please submit a training request.

  •   Eastern New Mexico  University in Roswell has in person and online classes in substance abuse counseling as part of the Human Services program.    You will need to register and enroll as a student.  The classes are 200 level, and will count for 45 CEU's each.

  •   There is a certificate program in substance abuse studies at Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari.
     

  • Western New Mexico University has graduate and Undergraduate Chemical Dependency courses.  You will need to register as a student.  Each course counts for 45 CEU's.  The program is in the Criminal Justice department.

  •   University of New Mexico Albuquerque houses the Substance Abuse Studies Training Program.  This is a 9 month intensive program that meets Saturday and Sunday every other week.  You may register for individual classes if you wish.  Some of the classes can be taken for undergraduate credit through the Psychology Department.  Classes are held in a remote area of the State, rotating yearly.
     

  •   The Annual Addictions Conference in Silver City meets in August on the campus of Western New Mexico University.  Info on this conference can be found on this site by using the Silver City Institute button.
     

  •   Online classes are available through a variety of venues in the Addiction Technology Transfer Centers.  You can search for a class that interests you.
     

  •   Over 50 Online Courses                

    Keep in mind that you are only allowed to get 12 CEU's through online or correspondence training.
